My Friday...

So, the bf and I decided to go out for dinner to Bj's Restaurant. It was our first time going so we have no clue what to get. Anyhow, we end up ordering calamari for appetizer, and I got New Orleans jambalaya for my entree and the bf got his famous tenderloin with mashed potato.. Overall, I didn't like what I ordered, it was too rich, yet the tenderloin is very dry too :(. Sad to say but we will Never be coming there again...

Shopping Haul...

All the items were bought last month...F21 were having buy one get one free item on their sale item.. All these items were from sale section. I also got my 5th pair of TOMS and a bag/ sleep wear from Victoria Secret :)

Little bitty drugstore haul

Hi ladies, just wanted to share with you all the things I've gotten today. Ever-since I saw the Revlon Color Stay Whipped foundation on YouTube, I've been thinking of getting one, and now I finally have my hands on them as well as the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain. (will review these products later). Lastly, Walgreens has their Sinful Color nail polishes on sale this week for 99cents (original price was $1.99) so, I grabbed four of them. I love Sinful Color nail polishes because they're cheap and they last for about 2 weeks on nails until they chip. Colors from left to right: leaf frog, you just wait, Tokyo pearl and rain storm. My color from revlon foundation was 240 natural beige, I'm an NC 30-35 on Mac.

Beauty post.

This will be my first blog post related to beauty. It has been a while since I bought make-up. I just can't justify to buy more make up because I already have so much..and most of them I haven't even use it yet. But, last week I hit the pan of my Mac mineralize skin finish natural and also I am running out of my laura mercier primer so, I had to buy a new ones. So, when we went shopping last week, we stop by at Sephora and got me a new primer which is the Benefit Porefessional. I always wanted to try this primer because I heard so many good reviews about it. I have not tried this yet, so I can't really give any opinion about this product. On the other hand, I also got me a Mac mineralize skin finish in light plus, I used to be in light medium but the MUA said that they renamed them for some reason?!?anyway, I have always been a fanatic of this powder because it's give me a natural finish without having my skin oily.. (F.Y.I I have oily sensitive skin) this would be my 4th pan and it normally lasted me for good six months because I only put make up maybe 3 to 4 times a week depending on my mood, but normally I always have bare face (lol)I used to use Pur Minerals powder before and it didn't work out for me because within the two hour period of having the powder on my face I would look like a grease ball. My face would turn so greasy that it's not even funny. I tried to believe on that product but it failed on me. Okay, let's move on with the famous Laura Mercier Oil-Free primer this retail for $30 at Sephora. It is worth it? Hmm in all honesty I think it's not worth the price if this were under $20 maybe I'll say yes it's worth it. This product claims "perfect for all skin types. It create a smooth and invisible layer and protect the skin. Foundation will stay fresh all day". My overall thoughts about this product: It is an okay product for me, it's certainly not my holy grail because of the fact that it didn't really provided me a smooth layer, meaning my pores would still show after applying foundation, and also towards the end of the day my face would be slightly oily however,I like the texture or its consistency more like a gel formula. I also like that it doesn't smell anything which is a plus. But in the end I will not repurchase this product again. I'll give 3 out of 5 stars.

Small haulage..

Hi everyone, just wanted to share with you all the things that I bought this past week. Me and my girlfriend went out on my day off and decided to go shopping.. I had a lot of fun hanging out with her.. Anyhow, we didn't get a chance to take some photo coz we were busy chatting/ and shopping of course. Nonetheless, here are the clothing items I hauled. The shirt and the knitted vest were from H&M as well as the three bracelet, I also got a hat but, it's not shown on the picture. All these items were under $20. Then, the next three dresses were from F21/target. The black dress is from Target for $5.48. The pink chiffon dress were $15 and the coral lace dress were$9..I'm telling you ladies, we don't need to spend a lot to look cute :) P.S. we also went to Jolibee it's a Filipino fast food chain which is similar to Mc Donald's but better (lol). We had halo halo which is (from Tagalog word halò, "mix") is a popular Filipino dessert that is a mixture of shaved ice, milk, and different kinds of fruits which is so yummmyyyyy...this is my to go desert this summer.

Make up vanity makeover.

Last Monday, I decided to pimp my vanity from old tan color to black since my furniture is also black ( just to match them) I think I did a pretty good job. I was going to make a blog post about this DIY but, I got so lazy to take pictures. But anyway, here is what my vanity turned out. I'll do a make up collection post in the future :)

How to wear: Crochet shorts

Hi everyone.. So, I was sorting out my new clothes and I figured why not do an outfit from day to night wearing one of my favorite piece for the summer, which is crochet shorts. I got mine from F21 for $18.90 :) the first picture is my day outfit, very casual yet still girly at the same time. The middle picture is very feminine yet edgy. As you can see I'm not a heel type of girl although I wish I am. I love wearing flats and wedges.. By the way, excuse me for not showing my face I'm a hot mess that time (L0lz).

Happy 4th of July

Once again, America is celebrating it's independence day... When I first came here in the states back in 1999, I didn't know that Americans celebrate their independence day "big" I mean, majority of the people would have a day off, and they would get together and
Do a BBQ in each household or at the park. Then, later in the evening they would have a fireworks in the marina. We can't really have fireworks outside the house since its illegal. But, anyhow I love how Americans are very patriotic ... Again, happy 4th of July.. Enjoy the ribs, chicken wings, hotdogs and burgers...happy eating.
